Laura Pearson Hurst was born 1 May 1856 and died 3 March 1876. Her daughter was buried with her. The daughter's name is Mary Eliza Ann Hurst, born 10 January 1875 and died 2 March 1876. Laura was the first wife of Andrew Jackson Hurst (son of Elza Hurst of McNairy Co., TN). The marriage license for A.J. and Laura listed her as "Jennie". Laura was named after her mother. Her middle name was probably Virginia and so she was called by the nickname Jennie.
