Valo Merrell
MERRELL -- Arrangements are incomplete for the funeral of Valo Merrell, 30 years old, a resident of Tipton Ford, who died at 11:50 o'clock last night at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Robert Donaldson, 2121 Pearl avenue. He had been a patient at St. John's hospital until Wednesday, when he was dismissed. He was born and reared at Tipton Ford. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sarah Merrell; a son, Lyndel and two daughters, Louise and Patty, all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Wilson of Tipton Ford and Mrs. John Willenborg of Wichita Falls, Tex., and his mother, Mrs. R. M. Evans of Woodriver, Ill.

MERRELL -- Funeral services for Valo Merrell, 30 years old, of Tipton Ford, who died Thursday night at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Robert Donaldson, 2321 Pearl avenue, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Spring Valley Community church, two miles east of Tipton Ford. The Rev. Thurman Kelley, pastor of the Forest Park Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Valley cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Wallace, Tom Erwin, John Harris, Earl Harris, Raymond Bull and Bert Bull. The body will lie in state at the home of the aunt until 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
